About Animal Hospital of East Cobb

Animal Hospital of East Cobb was founded in 1994 with the purpose of providing personalized service to clients and their dogs and cats.  Our little cottage in the woods has a family atmosphere with a staff team that enjoys making everyone feel welcome. We take pride in being described as quaint and charming with a more intimate client and patient experience than large multi-doctor facilities.

Animal Hospital of East Cobb in Marietta, GA is a general practice dedicated to dogs, cats and clients.  It is our commitment to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.  Our services and facilities are designed to assist in routine preventive care for young, healthy pets; early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages; and complete medical and surgical care as necessary during your pet's lifetime. We understand the special role your pet plays in your family and are dedicated to becoming your partner in your pet's health care. We treat your pet as we would our own. Our goal is to practice the highest quality medicine and surgery with compassion and an emphasis on client education. Our entire healthcare team is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner.

Clinic Information

Appointments

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Please let us know all of your concerns when you make an appointment so that enough time is allotted for the doctor to address your questions.  Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

For your convenience, "drop-off" appointments are available. A "drop off" means you may bring your pet and leave him/her with us until the doctor can examine him/her. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so our doctor can examine the patient as time allows or at the time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the doctor is done, you will receive a phone call to go over the diagnosis and to give you discharge instructions.

Patient
Arrival Policy

For the safety of animals in our care and humans in our facility, we require that pets' vaccinations be up to date. Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pets. Dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.  Cats must be presented in an appropriate  carrier or on a leash.
